Interior Wall Settling vs. Beam Sagging

this 2 story townhouse in Costa Mesa had experienced foundation settlement in the interior walls. we assessed the conditions and provided a monitoring program to keep track of the settling over time. our sketch showed the downward sloping of the 2nd floor and the 1st floor superimposed to help understand that there was beam sagging and foundation settlement as separate issues.
